Project Details
This 160 year old church underwent reordering to make it a space that was suitable for the changing needs of its community in the 21st Century. To do that they needed more flexible seating to replace the pews.
The new flexibility along with a kitchenette enabled them to have a new large meeting area at the back of church with universal access, and the option of the much larger space of the entire nave available for a whole variety of community uses. A new look to the main entrances with glazes doors to see into the church and let more light along with new storage space was also added.
ICS Solution: This is where the ICON 40 chair and its clever design enabled the client to stack the chairs up to 40 chairs high and be wheeled away into their new storage cupboards when not in use.
