Project Details
Challenge: ICS were contracted to work with the Parish Priest and the Architect in designing, manufacturing and installing a range of furniture and bespoke items for the churches renovation.
ICS Furnishers solution: ICS had several consultation meetings both with the Parish Priest, Fr. Kilmartin and Patrick Weafer the architect to discuss designs and offer ideas and advice across a diverse range of elements including:
Seating to main body of church
Benches for gallery
Bronze pillars to back of sanctuary
Free standing stone panels with timber surround on the Altar
New Altar set with stone centre panels, Altar, ambo,
Presiders chair with integrated seating for co-celebrants
Tabernacle pillar
Tabernacle bass plus bronze
Timber tread detail to all steps
Candle shrine
Baptismal font
New sacristy cabinetry
Every element was designed and crafted to complement and enhance the newly refurbished interior. It was indeed a large project which we are very proud to have been associated with.
ICS completed installation in December 2019.
